Prabodh Vidya Bhavan is an educative paying guest facility for college girl students in Kothrud area near MIT.
The facility is promoted and run by Prabodh Artha Sanchay Pvt. Ltd., an investment company of ‘Prabodh’ group. This group was started by past students of Jnana Prabodhini, a 43 year old educational organization of national acclaim. Prabodh group has been working in variety of professions since 1988 with’ Creation of wealth for social cause’ as its guiding principle.
Pune, as the hub of modern education and a very cultured and safe place for education of women, has been attracting students from all over India. To provide a safe yet encouraging educational environment to girl students hailing from far off corners of our country is one of the causes that we cherish.
Prabodh Vidya Bhavan is a homely, enriching and modern paying guest facility for such girl students.
Dr. Mrs. Nalini Gujarathi (M.Sc., M.Ed., Ph.D.) who heads the project is a renowned educationist with ample experience of developing young girl students. With the background of an excellent educational career and a teaching experience ranging from gifted school children to university teachers, she will provide an inspiring role model for students here.
Two experienced and matured matrons and a team of disciplined staff will assist Mrs. Gujarathi in the day to day management.

personality development.
The paying guest facility basically offers a cozy, modern and convenient accommodation for girl students near MIT Kothrud, Pune.
Spacious, well – ventilated rooms with attached toilets and quality furniture along with phone connection for incoming calls as well as gym library, common T. V. and internet facility are made available for 57 students.
A modern kitchen with best possible stainless steel utensils and cooking gadgets run by caterers of vast experience in serving prime institutions and I. T. Companies will provide nourishing and tasty food. The management will supply all the grocery and vegetable inputs of choicest quality. This will ensure a certain standard and variety in the food.
We provide mainly North Indian / Punjabi food preparation for lunch and Dinner and provide South Indian / Maharashtrian variety for breakfast as well as tasty, spicy food for the evening snacks. We also add various fast food varieties like Pav Bhaji, Chinese etc. for a change.
An undisturbed study room and Library will offer opportunities for studious girls to excel in their careers.
Medical treatment is provided at Deenanath Hospital, Krishna Hospital when needed.
We also offer enrichment programs and counseling for personality development.
The festivals like Ganpati festival, Dashara, Diwali, Sankrant, Holi, Gudhi – Padwa etc. are celebrated with enthusiasm. Cultural programs are presented by students.
Prizes are given to the students achieving first class / distinction in the examination.
We conduct prayers and meditation to make the mind calm and steady and to experience the happiness of soul.
Charges :
The student will pay Rs.98000/- for one academic year’s accommodation and food facility.
The student can book her sit by paying a non – refundable advance of Rs. 7000/-. Admission will be confirmed only after thorough
interview, filling of admission form and signing the regulation pledge and of course, after paying the full fees. Payment can be
made by Cash, Demand Draft or Cheque.
Charges will include a room shared by three, a bed, computer table, cupboard and a shelf for personal use. The food facility
includes tea / coffee (twice a day), breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. The student will have free access to gym, study,
T.V. room, recreation space and incoming phone facility. She will be entitled to use common facilities such as dry balcony,
passenger lift, water cooler, pure potable water and the solar hot water in the bathroom in the morning from 6.00 a.m. to 9.30 a.m.
Ironing is allowed on the iron tables kept in passages.
There is no option of mere accommodation, as the mess facility is an integrated part of the comprehensive package. The academic
year starts on 1st July of each year and ends after the yearly final examination of students.

Students will have to be punctual for food and night stay. Discipline and descent behaviour is a must. Students are allowed to stay outside till 9.00 p.m. and 9.30 p.m. on Sunday. Prayer is conducted and attendance is taken at 9.45 p.m. which is compulsory for every student.
Prior written application and telephonic confirmation with parents is a must for seeking a legitimate night out.
